Best Face of 2014

The January challenge at I Heart Faces is “Best Face of 2014.” This picture right here is my favorite face picture of 2014 for so many reasons. The number one reason is, of course, just how very much I love this particular face. I cannot get enough of her. Just cannot.

In the Distance

As our life begins to settle, I’m finally finding more time to spend with my camera. Yay! This means I can start doing some of my favorite things again, like participating in the I Heart Faces monthly challenges. This month’s challenge is “In the Distance.” This photo is actually from a few months ago when my parents visited, but it’s one of my favorites because it has my three favorite people in it.

Family Fun

The challenge at I Heart Faces this week is “Family Fun.” I love, love, love this picture of my friends, the Lundquists. They let me take pictures of their family this fall, and the circus just happened to be in town. I love how giggly they all are in this photo!

Furry Faces

This week’s challenge over at I Heart Faces is “Furry Faces.” The photo doesn’t necessarily have to have a furry face, but it does need to be a photo of an animal. I’m sharing a photo of the little ladybug that kept me company during my early morning photo shoot.

You can see more furry faces here:

On Your Feet!

The challenge at I Heart Faces this week is “On Your Feet!” My entry is a photo from the roof of the Naturhistorisches Museum Wien. The roof has statues of a number of famous scientists. I didn’t check to see whose feet I took a picture of, but I love this shot. Giant feet with Vienna in the background!

Black

The challenge at I Heart Faces this week is “Black.” This picture was taken a few weeks ago at our staff retreat. My husband and our school director had a Tea Party Battle. Matt represented the US, and our director, James, represented the UK. They battled to see who could drink the most cups of tea. I’m proud to say that the US won. However, James was definitely the sharper dressed man in this fine suit.

Let Them Be Little

The challenge at I Heart Faces this week is “Let Them Be Little.” My entry is a photo of one of my favorite little ones. For quite awhile this was the face she would make every time she knew I was taking her picture. I don’t know where she picked up the idea that this was a good camera face, but it cracks me up!

Tickled Pink!

This week’s challenge at I Heart Faces is “Tickled Pink!” In honor of breast cancer awareness month, all of the entries must include the color pink. This picture is from our trip to Carnivale di Venezia, last March. I think it might be one of my favorite photos of all time. Well, favorite of the photos I’ve taken, anyway. 🙂

Raise Your Hands!

This week’s challenge at I Heart Faces is “Raise Your Hands!” The picture I chose is one that was taken when my friend’s daughter was just six hours old. It’s one of my favorites.

People’s Choice

The competition at I Heart Faces this week is People’s Choice. That means if you enter, you get to vote on the winners. Kinda fun, right? The photos all have to have been taken between June 1 & August 31, 2011. Here’s my entry:
