It’s not a band. It’s a church type thing.
This ministry is the brainchild of Thomas, a friend of mine on staff, and I think it will be a great thing for many of the students here at school. Our school is at a point where we have kids who have become believers, but for one reason or another cannot be part of a local church. The Journey was created to fill that void.
We had our first meeting last week and were encouraged by the number of students who showed up to worship God and learn more about Him.
Please pray for the leadership of The Journey as we seek to make this a valuable experience for the students involved. Also pray for the students, that they would learn what it is to be part of a church community and be blessed by the experience.
I had my 9th grade computer class record an interview with their favorite geek or nerd…or nerdy geek. Many of them do this in a radio show format, but this is the first one I’ve ever received that features an original theme song.
